BCS = Bullshit.
Did UGA play on Saturday and lose? That is the only rationale explanation I can come up with. VT wins the ACC, the weakest and lamest conference, and gets to leapfrog us. I can understand Oklahoma leapfrogging us. They crushed the #1 team on a neutral field. However, LSU does not even cover the spread but gets in the title game. I am beginning to believe that LSU is the new Norte Dame. No matter how mediocre they play, the sports reporters love them. God, I hate the BCS system. Plus, Kansas gets in, but Missouri doesn’t? What the hell?

I agree; Oklahoma probably should have jumped UGA–that’s fine. But I totally don’t understand the LSU thing. Anyone who watched that game saw how close they came to losing.
The two best teams in the country are UGA and USC. I could care less about the rankings and the BCS. everyone knows it’s a total sham. The Rose bowl committee had the opportunity to give college football fans one of the best games of recent memory and did not. It’s not even good economics: UGA fans travel far better than UI fans. Tradition sucks, and it all seems so arbitrary. Do the people who run this thing even care about the fans at all?
College football is become an abusive boyfriend. And we all sit around and bitch and cry to each other, but we always come back. Maybe we need an intervention or something.
Next year will be worse: UGA, UF, USC, OU and OSU will all return ridiculous talent. It’ll be an even bigger mess.
