Whatever happened to that old-time religion?

At times, I wish the dear Lord would go back to his Old Testament ways and smite people for the wickedness and their haughty and manipulative use of the good book. Case in point – Paris Hilton. This worthless gutter-trash socialite has the unmitigated gaul to use the Holy Bible as a crutch to save her sorry ass from doing time in the county jail. And with all apologies to the Church Lady, “How Damn Convenient.” What amazes me is that she is still out on the damn street, even after the sentence has been imposed!!!!
