As I sit in this bar, my mind is in a haze. I settle into my bar stool and lean forward. I have been drinking most of the night, and this is my last stop of the night. As I look around the bar, the memories in my mind are in a mangled mess, and they osculate from those of shame, fear & horror to that of joy, bliss, & lust. Despite being quite inebriated, my mind is able to focus on the night that I held you close to me in the darkness, and how you felt in my arms. I loved running my hands through your silken hair and caressing your body. Your low, deep, but delightful moans of pleasure set my soul ablaze. It did so much that I remember how you held your hand against my chest. You told me to slow down, and that you were afraid that my heart would come out of my chest. In the small hours of that night, you made believe that I was worthy of your lust and of your love. Yet, that night is only a memory from another time, another life. It ebbs from my consciousness to the dark recesses of my mind as I lift my pint glass to take another drink.
